Dume41 has been crafting music since 1992. That year he formed a rap and graffiti crew called Several Active Minds where he raised Seattle MC’s Deepness (God Rest) and Illoquint on a steady diet of Boom Bap. Deepness went on to help found Maroon Colony where he built with artists such as Khingz (now one half of Abyssinian Creole) and Asun (of Alpha P/1st Platoon). Illoquint went on to produce hundreds of records for dozens of artists all over the country and is getting closer to his Grammy. Dume reorganized Several Active Minds and subsequently released “Constructicon Mathematics” in 2005, and “Shogun Craftsman” in 2007. Dume released his solo full length debut “God Save The King” on December 1st, 2008. He produces, mixes and masters music at his studio, The Legion of Dume, and has collaborated with Specs One, King Khazm (Cyphalliance), Knuckleheadbanga, , DJ Gumbeaux, Silver Shadow D, Gabriel Teodros, Illoquint, The Elefaders, Giant Squid Beats and others.
